Summary:Alex accidentally manages to shoot the British Prime Minister in the hand when he parachutes into the Science Museum in Stormbreaker. At the end of the Eagle Strike mission, Mrs Jones tells Alex that the Prime Minister and the US President would like to meet him. The Prime Minister is also at the meeting of Cobra in Scorpia, and the Invisible Sword letter is addressed to him. At the meeting, Alex thinks the Prime Minister looks older and shabbier than he does on the television. At the meeting, though, the Prime Minister doesn't refer to Alex by name when he is talking about him. Alex also meets the Deputy Prime Minister - fat and jowly - and the Foreign Secretary there. The Prime Minister's office also sends Alex a get-well card in Ark Angel, but the Prime Minister is too busy to sign it.
