Blue Shadow barge

The barge on which Skoda and his friend prepare their drugs. They have turned it into a floating laboratory. It has flaking blue paint, rusty ironwork and dirty, oil-covered decks.

Liebherr 154 EC-H crane

One of most modern cranes in the world. It uses fluid coupling between the electric motor and gears so that it never jolts or shudders, just glides. The ladder up to the crane has three hundred rungs. Alex uses his metal-dissolving zit cream to break in, and uses the crane to give Skoda an unpleasant surprise…

Rolls-Royce

Alex is driven to the Lancashire home of Sir David Friend in a Corniche with a 6.75 litre light pressure V8 engine. It has Wilton wool carpets, wooden panelling and leather seats.

Robinson R44 helicopter

A four-seater, American-built helicopter, piloted by Mrs Stellenbosch when she comes to pick up Alex from Sir David Friend's mansion and take him to Point Blanc Academy.

Yamaha Mountain Max snowmobiles

This bike is equipped with 700cc triple-cylinder engines and has 141-inch tracks and 300 watt headlights. Two of them chase Alex down the mountain from the Point Blanc Academy.

This aeroplane lands at Saint-Geoirs Airport at Grenoble, supposedly to take Alex's body back to England.
