At the end of their final showdown on Air Force One, Alex finds himself unarmed, facing Damian Cray's gun. He hurls himself forward and slams a drinks trolley into Cray. Cray and the trolley fly out of the open door of the plane, down the emergency slide and into engine two. In one second he is "turned into a cloud of red gas".
