Kept in a huge tank at Sayle Enterprises, this is the biggest jellyfish Alex has ever seen (a Physalia physalis). Its body is a shimmering, pulsating mass of white and mauve, with a mass of tentacles at least ten metres long. It has hundreds of stinging cells on its tentacles which would kill a human. Herod Sayle found it while diving in the South China Sea. Alex has to evade being stung and killed by it when dropped into its tank by Nadia Vole.
