A male orang-utan called Arthur is being kept on Flamingo Bay, in order to be sent up into space in the Soyuz-Fregat shuttle.

It is being kept in a cage underground on the island; Tamara and Alex are placed in neighbouring cages when captured by Drevin's men the night before the launch.
