Whilst Yassen and John Rider (codename: Hunter) are in the jungle waiting to assassinate the Commander, a black widow spider crawls on to Yassen's shoulder. It clings to the side of his neck, just under the line of his chin. Yassen (codename: Cossack) whistles to attract the attention of Hunter. Hunter doesn’t have time to save his colleague and shoot the Commander, so he fires once, and the bullet flashes past, cutting a line in Cossack’s neck, blowing the spider apart, and burying itself in the Commander’s chest.
