In order to infiltrate the Stormbreaker computer factory at Port Tallon, Alex impersonated Felix Lester, a boy who had won a competition to visit the complex.

Felix, who resembles Alex, is a whiz with computers. He goes to a school called St Anthony's, has two sisters and a Labrador. His father is an architect; his mother designs jewellery. Felix likes the music of John Lennon, and supports Manchester United. He lives in a converted church in Hampstead, north London.
